The faculty and staff of CESH include statisticians, clinicians, epidemiologists, librarians, computer scientists, and health services researchers. We collaborate with diverse groups of scholars and professional societies worldwide, in health and other disciplines. These collaborations have led to numerous publications and publicly-available tools for evidence synthesis.
Funding
The Center’s work is funded by, among others, the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Systematic reviews
We are devoted to examining, distilling and assessing specific medical problems or treatments.
That work often takes the form of a systematic review. Systematic reviews systematically search for, evaluate, and synthesize existing research. They includes a qualitative and perhaps quantitative analysis of what is known and unknown, as well as recommendations for action and future research.
Other research
CESH also presents at professional conferences and publish in top tier medical and methodological journals on topics such as meta-analysis, decision modeling and economic modeling.
